As a PvE and Random Arena player I would love to see a Baltazar Title which is related to the amount of Baltazar Reward points Gathered or PvP Wins made.

I have tried multiple times to get on a Team arena or Hero's Ascent Teams; But as it is hard to make a title in RA it is difficult for me to 'prove' i have PvP-battle experience. Teams in TA or HA wil hardly except players without /rank and after 30min to 1h of just standing and hoping on a team accept i usually go back to Random, so i can atleast play and have some fun.

In Random it still hard to make 5wins (less when there are coins to be made) and gather a rank title. But there are loads of 1, 2 or 3 winstreaks. Now spending all Baltazar on Keys is a way to get the flashy emote, but i also favour trying new builds and unlocking skills for my PvP character; Meaning i might have a Full unlocked PvP character, but nothing to show for my PvP experience... A baltazar or 'Arena Wins' Title might help there...

As i do like the idear of the different ranks and love the flashy emotes (im saving on my keys atm), a Baltazar or Wins Title track would atleast indicate the amount of battles fought (be it in any PvP form), the /rank can then further specify where the bulk of that Reward is earned.

Perhaps something like an 'Every battle Counts' title tree ...
- PvP Novice (you have won 50 pvp battles)
- Foot Soldier (you have won 100pvp battles)
- Soldier (you have won 250pvp battles)
- Warrior (you have won 500pvp battles)
- Lieutenant (you have won 1000pvp battles)
- Major (you have won 2000pvp battles)
- General (you have won 3000+ pvp battles)
or anything along these lines...

I do realise this wont stop people from wanting to know Rank for TA and HA arena's, but if i make a luitenant in RA, i am pretty sure i would atleast be picked sooner in TA, getting a TA-rank, which i can then use to get on a HA team more easily ... atleast so are my hopes, which sparked this idear...

Serious part - if you add another title for PvP, make it either much more PvP battles (50 battles can easily be done in 5 days, give or take *most likely take*), or make it a KoaBD rank version for just PvP titles (i.e., every x ranks gained in PvP account based titles, you get one rank in the new PvP Title).

Other wise, no.

If anything, just add a title for how much Balth faction you have on your account...someone will probably try to make the argument that it overlaps with blah blah blah...the fact of the matter is that a lot of other titles overlap with one another too...

The thing about a title like this is that even players that refuse to improve their skills and tactics in PvP will be able to earn 3000 wins eventually. The TA/HA elite will still not accept you into a group any sooner than if you had earned R5 Zaishen and you'll be right back where you started.

I empathize with you completely, but this idea just isn't worth the trouble.

Edit: I do suggest you try to get into a guild, or form one yourself that is into TA/HA and work your way up from there.

Enough is enough. If you give this title now and make it regressable, people that abused rolling will get an instant r5. If you don't, people will cry because they used to be in a GvG/HA/TA(hehe)/AB (hoho) guild, they did thousands of games, won a lot and they won't get their title.

It's too late for something this big.

No. Just becuase you have played X amount of pvp, doesn't make you experienced. Especially if you are playing all the matches in RA then want to go to HA and will have no idea what you're doing.

I have to agree, this title is already in the game as Zaishen Key farmer.

Farming z-keys is pure horror without some sort of solid pvp build, meaning you're either very - very very - very dedicated and running the basic pvp build or having unlocked all important skills already to make it doable.
In the latter case, farming faction for all the skills and then farming again for zkeys also stands for x hours of experience.

In addition, trough buying keys you can use pve experience as well so pve experience also counts towards pvp, to a certain extend anyway, as farming that much money without getting obsidian or some other stuff instead also shows dedication.

Because, any old noob with a bit of time can leech in RA for any amount of wins.
Besides, isn't this what ZRank is for? I've only ever bought keys with my faction, and I've hit R1 in a few weeks, because I'm honest and don't raptor farm for days so I can buy keys and have R6 in like, a day.

and if you do have "pvp battle experience"
and you are -not sayin you said this, but this is what comes out of most low/unranked people- "as good as if not better" then real ranked people...

the get some friends together..
make your own build
and go at it...

and zrank is gonna get you no where in HA either tbh...
becuzz alot of HA'rs (well i guess i can only speak for myself ^^; )
got r3 zaishen (just enuff to display in HoM)
and went back to Selling zkeys makin money off the PvE pplz that fail at pvp and think zrank is better than real rank or champ rank ~.~

If you want to get into pvp, join a pvp guild. Trying to use existing titles or make up a new title is a terrible way.

See there is the point, when i unlocked what i wanted i didnt turn in the rewards

so i have no clue howmuch wins or faction i have gathered.. but no biggy, ill just continue with the keycollecting

Seeing the reactions on the titles then i hope there is a suggestion for GW2 to get their titles straight incl. emotes so all sorts of Gameplay count for something

, if it has been covered from every angle surely a good system can be made up...

Still would like to see it in GW though :
